2014 $18/ bottle $15.30/ 6 bottles $13.50/ 12 bottles This stunning Malbec comes from the Uco Valley in Mendoza Argentina. Full of intense smoked meat, cracked black pepper, dried rose petal, and dried out red and black fruit notes, this is amazing Malbec. Big and beautiful tannins dominate the palate with flavors of cedarwood, soft leather and chewy black fruit making this a great wine for any dinner party. In 1890 Don Fernando Riili left Sicily and arrived in Mendoza with his wife and 5 children in search of perfect soil and climate for vine cultivation. They are now several generations down the line and are one of the longest family-owned and managed estates in all of South America. The “Buenos Hermanos” which translates to “Good Brothers” is all about the relationship between the winemaker and the terroir, who should behave like good brothers, if you will, to create a wine that is expressive of the place and time.
