Garofoli 'ColleAmbro' - Montepulciano/Sangiovese

Colle Ambro DOC is an important mature red wine. The area of origin is that of the Marche hills in the middle of the DOC area. The soil in this geographical area is of medium texture, with a conspicuous presence of clay. The grapes used for its vinification are those of Montepulciano and Sangiovese. The traditional red grape varieties of the Marche, Sangiovese and Montepulciano, contribute in different percentages to the composition of this wine with good body and structure. Aging for over a year in oak barrels gives the Colle Ambro DOC Rosso Piceno characteristics of elegance and softness.
