Casey McClellan was born and raised in a farming family which instilled a passion for exactly that. Later on in life, after meeting his wife Vicky, they decided to turn the family farm into a vineyard. In 1988 Seven Hills Winery was born. They began with 21 acres of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, which they have continued to cultivate. Located in Walla Walla, Washington, the merlot grapes thrive in the mellow weather conditions and loess soils. High acidity comes together perfectly with rich blackberry and dried herbs making this an amazing wine with brisket stew or a smoked rack of ribs.
