Campo de Borja is quickly becoming the heart of Garnacha production in Spain. The region that is inland from the Penedès is warm and sunny and produces enormous amounts of fruit. Their Garnachas are smooth, silky and earthy. Fruits like black raspberries, cranberries and smoke just calls for barbecued or grilled meats. Definitely pair this red with braised short ribs, a pepperoni pizza or tagine with a bit of spice.
