This family-owned estate in Touraine has been producing wine for many years. Patrick Vauvy took over the Domaine, tending to 25-year-old vines of not only Sauvignon Blanc, but also Chardonnay, Gamay, and Cabernet Franc. On the slopes of the Cher Valley, Sauvignon Blanc is situated on stony-limestone soils that bring out Sauvignon Blanc's freshness. The Touraine, though closer to the coast, is actually warmer than Sancerre or Pouilly-Fumé and gives Sauvignon Blanc tropical fruit characteristics and pure intensity of fruit. In this wine, you will also find citrus fruit, pineapple, passion fruit, and honeysuckle. Pair with a classic - goats cheese salad.
