Croatia and Slovenia Wine and Food Tour - May 2024

While the grape varieties are a bit tricky to pronounce, Croatia is not new to the wine world. In fact, they have been making wine for a couple thousand years! Neighboring Slovenia has also stunned the modern drinkers with fresh, elegant expressions of their own native grape varieties. With rolling highlands, hillsides, and a long beautiful coastline along the Adriatic sea offering some of Europe's freshest seafood, you won't want to miss this one. Let's dive in!

Starting on Thursday the capital city of Zagreb, we will quickly make our way west towards the coast. We will enjoy 4 nights at our first accommodation visiting wineries within the Istria and Kvarner producing regions of NW Croatia, and will also visit producers over the border in Slovenia's Primorska region. Enjoy a variety of styles ranging from aromatic whites, to orange wines, and even international reds!

On Monday, we will travel south towards the city of Split and center of the Dalmatia region. This is commonly known to be Croatia's most traditional, and most beautiful wine growing area! We will stay in this area for 3 nights.

On Thursday, we will make our further south along the coast, and will spend our last 2 nights just a bit north of Dubrovnik. Drop off will be in Dubrovnik on Saturday, May 25th--and you'll probably want to stay a couple extra days to take it all in!

Trip Packet 

All trips are filled on a first come first served basis.

*The full expected trip cost for double occupancy is $4750 per person. If traveling as a couple, please be sure to add two double occupancy deposits to your car. The singles supplement is an additional $500, or $5250

*While we try to price all of our trips fairly, due to the variable costs associated with international travel over the past 3 years including fuel, accommodations, vehicle rentals, food, etc., The Wine Feed reserves the right to adjust the final price of this trip at its discretion. Any guest who has placed the 50% deposit required to reserve a space will be notified no later than 125 days before the trip departure of any price change. Final payment will be required 120 days before the trip, and no payments will be returned if cancellation occurs after this date.*

**The initial deposit is refundable up until 180 days prior to the trip start date. Any cancellation between 180 - 121 days prior to trip start will surrender the deposit.**
