Beaujolais from a Cru appellation like Côte de Brouilly always makes Gamay in a powerful and grippy way. We love this one from Lapalu because it's made with great concentration and aromatic with black cherry and blackberry flavors. The wine has nice vanilla and spiced flavors from oak aging.
