The Roquette family acquired the winery in 1985 and is considered one of the largest organic wine producers in Portugal. Grown on 18 year old vines in granite, clay-loam soils this white is made from a blend of Antão Vaz, Arinto, Roupeiro and Gouveio varietals, all of which are native to Portugal but are usually infrequently imported to the United States. Aged in both stainless steel and oak, this white has a complex yet elegant body. You can expect tasting notes of spice, citrus and white fruit.
