Notes from the producer:
"Half ton of whole clusters were left in to add complexity and tell
a bit more of the vineyard’s story, punch downs in half ton bins,
indigenous primary and secondary fermentation, aged in neutral
french oak barrels for 8 months sur lees. Lighter shade of ruby in
color. Big, expressive nose of perfume, dusty wild strawberry and
rhubarb. Background notes of raspberry, orange peel, white pepper
and thyme. Delicious medium bodied mouthful of bright red
raspberry, dark cherry, plum and baker’s chocolate. Long, lingering
finish of red fruits, white pepper and fine tannins."
