White Blend: 45% Encruzado 45% Bical 10% Malvasia Fina

This project was born from the will of three winemakers, Jorge Moreira, Francisco Olazabal, and Jorge Serôdio Borges who wanted to make a wine together.

The wine was fermented in small stainless steel tanks and oak barrels and was aged for eight months with slight battonage (French term for stirring settled lees back into wine).

M.O.B. Lote 3 flirts with the past, with its complex and austere aromas not falling into the mainstream light aromatic whites. This Dao White is given a beautiful golden color by the maturation and richness of Encruzado and Bical grapes. Its' subtle aromatics are dominated by a complex bouquet of white fruit, herbs, and minerality. Luxurious in the mouth but then very well balanced and long due to its great acidity.

Pair this blend with shellfish, lean fish, appetizers, and cured meats.
