Bodegas Olivares in Jumilla, Spain is famous for it's ungrafted vines of Monastrell, a grape native to this area of the Mediterranean. Monastrell is the Spanigh name for Mourvedre. Here, the grape is blended with Grenache and Syrah to create a classic "GSM" blend. This wine is fermented in stainless steel and aged for 3 months in French oak vats prior to bottling.
On the palate, the wine is full of dark berries and black cherries with a touch of pepper. Pair this with your favorite Spanish charcuterie!
