This 100% Albarino hails form Condado do Tea, one of six subzones in the Rias Biaxas area of Spain, which also makes up about 20% of the production of wines. As the warmest subzone of Rias Biaxas, the climate here provides the wine with more body and fruit than those of the coast while the soils in this region are slate and granite based creating a beautiful minerallity. Albarino is known as the 'Queen of whites' in spain and this Queen gives tasting notes of jasmine, pear, honeysuckle and lemon zest. Pair this white with a wide range of foods including clams or oysters and even a noodle dish like pad thai.
