Juhfark is an uncommon variety that calls the region of Somlo, in northwestern Hungary, home - and that is named for its resemblance to a sheep’s tail! The grapes are grown in basalt-rich and sandy soil near an inactive volcano, which provides notes of lime, starfruit, wet stone and flint. Pairs well with most seafood dishes!
