Pecorino is a light- skinned grape that does really well in the coastal climate of Abruzzo. Because it has naturally high sugars and really high acidity, it can be useful for winemakers to blend into other wines to cover up mistakes. but it is also a great wine on its own. With lovely minerality and fresh citrus it's perfect to start an evening or to cool off with in the heat of the summer!
