Ameztoi - Txakolina

On the Northern Coast of Spain, the Ameztoi family maintains their multi generational vineyards to grow indigenous grape varietals that make this wine so phenomenal. Being the regions first rose wine, the old vines of the Hondarribi Beltza and Hondarribi Zuri varietals make the wine bright and complex. The grapes are handpicked, combined for destemming, and then worked together. The wine is fermented using indigenous yeasts, and the tanks are closed towards the end of the process to preserve some of the natural effervescence. The finished product is nothing short of amazing, it brings the history of Txakolina to life!
