This is a typically dry, savory Sangiovese wine, well balanced with a great structure. Aromas of fruit and wood greet you at the nose while on the palate the Rosso is full bodied, with hints of red berry fruit and vanilla. There is an acidic backbone that ensures the finish is long and clean. Despite being pure Sangiovese, the age of the vines and vineyard location are such that this wine can be consumed immediately or cellared to age.
Goes well with food especially bold tuscan cheeses.
