Third generation winemaker Arrigo Bidoli comes from a long line of experts in the field of viticulture. Their family winery, Bidoli Vini, was founded over 100 years ago and is still housed in the same brick factory that dates back to 1890, making it one of the oldest standing buildings in the Friuli Region of Italy. Nestled among the mountains, this winemaking region’s soil is characterized by gravel and stone which has added benefits drawn from the nearby Adriatic Sea. ‘Arrigo’ is dry and full-bodied, fermented through selected yeasts and refined in stainless steel tanks. Notes of honeydew melon, starfruit, and a touch of florality are balanced with a bright acidity. Enjoy this wine as an aperitif or pair it with a light soup, charcuterie, or lemon butter chicken.
