The 2023 Averoldi "Jacobus" comes from the Averoldi family’s century-old estate on the southern shores of Lake Garda in Lombardy, Italy. This region's cool breezes and limestone-rich soils create wines of balance and clarity. A blend of mostly Pinot Bianco with a touch of Chardonnay, "Jacobus" reflects Lake Garda's gentle warmth and lake-influenced freshness. Fermented and aged in stainless steel, it captures pure aromas of pear, apple, and white blossom with a distinct minerality. On the palate, it’s soft yet structured, with bright fruit, silky texture, and a clean, dry finish. Elegant and versatile, this wine pairs beautifully with northern Italian classics like grilled lake fish, polenta carbonara, or mild Alpine cheeses.
