This woman-owned certified organic winery started in 2008 when Beatriz Herranz and her mother planted 5.5 hectares of vines on their family land. Two years later she produced her first vintage and she has continued to purchase land and expand her winery. Known as one of the most popular varietals in Spain, Verdejo is known for being light and vivacious with tasting notes of green apple, pear and notes of citrus. This makes it the ideal pairing for many food dishes including fish tacos, manchego and lime chicken.
