Morgan Twain-Peterson started the dream of Bedrock Wine Co. by way of a converted chicken coop in 2007 before finally finding its current home in Sonoma Valley, California. Today, the winery comprises multiple vineyards totaling 152 acres, most of which are vines planted in the late 1800s and making them nearly 150 years old. This 100% Syrah is a blend of fruit from their Santa Barbara and Sonoma vines and is probably unlike any Syrah if you’ve ever had. With notes of purple fruit, licorice and black pepper, this bold red pairs well with roasts or other rich meat dishes.
