Family run since 1991 and certified organic since 2016, Bernard Fleuriet et Fils has accumulated 30 hectares of vines in the Sancerre appellation and grow just two varietals; Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir. The vineyards sit south-southeast facing hillsides and are harvested by hand. This classic style Sancerre is then aged in concrete vats on the lees for 10 months. Tasting notes of green apples, yellow pears, and honeysuckle are met with a floral nose and balanced acidity. Pair this wine with salmon and lemon sauce, goat cheese, or simple roasted chicken.
