Magrez was founded by Bernard Magrez after successfully tapping into the spirits market with port and whiskey. After his success with port, he was ready to tackle his next business venture: wine. Magrez went on to acquire 43 wine estates all over the world and holds 4 Grand Cru Classes. This particular white is from his French winery which sees Mediterranean breezes and the grapes are grown on clay, limestone and chalk soils which creates a crisp freshness in the grapes. Made up of 85% Sauvignon Blanc and 15% Chardonnay, this wine is light to medium bodied with tasting notes of pear, apple and citrus. Pair with seafood or soft cheeses such as brie.
