Boekenhoutskloof "Wolftrap" - Red Blend

A blend of Syrah, Mourvedre, and Viognier, the Wolftrap is from Franschhoek, South Africa. Syrah and Mourvedre add dark berries and some tannin to this wine's profile, while Viognier gives it some pretty floral notes. The wine is oak-aged which adds a hefty dose of vanilla, spice, and smoke. This wine is easy to drink and best paired with grilled meats, burgers, or a well-charred grilled portobello mushroom.
