This certified organic Spanish winery is located in the Upper Penedes wine region of Barcelona and they pride themselves on maintaining the relationship with the cultivated land and the wildland with respect and integrity. These 65 year old vines are grown at an altitude of 400m on a mixture of chalky and clay soils that are abundant in rocks. This results in both a slower ripening and lower yield of fruit, but produces a higher quality grape. This white blend is a combination of Paraellada, Macabeo, Chardonnay and Xarelo varietals. With a balanced minerality and tasting notes of stone fruit, white flowers and citrus, this dry white pairs well with seafood dishes and soft, melted cheeses.
