The grapes in this wine are grown in San Vito, Sardinia, though this varietal is thought to have Spanish origins. A true country wine with notes of brambly wild blackberry, dark cherry fruit and a bit of pipe tobacco on the finish. This wine is dry, gently tannic and features some charming rustic earthy notes. It could be served slightly chilled as an aperitivo or alongside a light meal of vegetables and seafood.
