This century-old winery was first established in 1896 as an export merchant and over time evolved into a first-rate winery known around the world. Founder Carlos Serres had a unique approach to winemaking at the time, blending production techniques from France with the rich terroir and grape varieties of Rioja. This is a blend of 85% Viura and 15% Tempranillo Blanco and is hand picked in September, going through a controlled-temperature fermentation. Notes of kiwi, green apple, and pineapple create a fresh and lasting finish. Pair with shellfish dishes, smoked meats, and aged cheeses.
