Champagne Jacquesson was founded in 1798 by Memmie Jacquesson and was rumored to have been a favorite of Napoleon. ‘Cuvee 744,’ while technically a non-vintage Champagne, is based on the 2016 vintage with the aim of their ‘7-series’ being to emphasize the best qualities of a certain year rather than create a uniform NV wine.
Made in an Extra Brut style, ‘Cuvee 744’ exhibits crisp stone fruit, orange-like acidity, brioche, and a vibrant finish. Pair with oysters and good times.
