Margaux is a great appellation for enjoying young Bordeaux and at the top of the list of young performers is Chateau Boyd-Cantenac. The Estate is 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot, 8% Cabernet Franc and 7% Petit Verdot. Boyd Cantenac flies under the radar of most collectors and therefore is a wonderful addition to start up collections. The wine ages well but doesn’t need 20 years. The winery has recently seen a string of tremendous vintages with 2016 being the top! Cheers!
