This well regarded wine estate is in the Saint-Julien appellation of the Haut Medoc wine region on Bordeaux's left bank. This Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot blend is aged in new French oak barrels for 18 months. On the nose this wine is elegant and fruity with notes of Blackberry and wild strawberry. On the pallet, licorice, toasted oak, carmel and chocolate come thru. This powerful red wine goes well with Beef, Venison or game bird.
