Located about 50 kilometers south of Bordeaux, the Chateau Laubarit property has been family-owned since 1780 and have been certified organic since 1965.The terroir in this region is a mixture of clay and thick limestone that is made up of tiny, fossilized oysters all in iron-rich soils, ideal conditions for both Sauvignon Blanc and Muscadelle grapes. This blend is 40% Sauvignon Blanc, 30% Semillon and 30% Muscadelle and is crisp and aromatic with a balanced acidity and tasting notes of apple, peaches and a touch of florality. Pair this wine with lobster or shrimp and or let it cellar age for a minimum of two years and enjoy it later!
