Chateau Peyreblanque, located in Graves, Bordeaux, France, has been producing gorgeous wines since 1826 when they opened. This red is a blend of 70% Cabernet Sauvignon and 30% Merlot. The grapes are harvested from 30-35 year old vines rooted in red clay and limestone soils. The wine is then aged in oak barrels for 10-15 months. This creates a glass of wine that is full bodied with soft tannins and contains notes of dark fruit, and hints of spice. Pair this with duck tenderloin with mushrooms.
