Codice Citra is 6,000 hectares (14,800 acres) and covers the majority of the Chieti province. Founded in 1973, 3,000 small family growers decided to unite to form a winery dedicated to quality. These family-owned properties stretch north to south along the Adriatic coast and east to west from the sea to Majella Mountain.

The Trebbiano grapes are first hand-harvested and then lightly crushed and put through cold maceration. The must from the first press is separated by gravity and then fermented at a controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks.

Citra Trebbiano is soft, floral and pleasantly dry. The straw-colored wine is filled with fresh citrus that makes it light, bright, and crisp! This wine is excellent on its own as an aperitif. Pair with fish, white meat, or lighter cheeses.
