This wine is grown in clay and limestone soil and is called "Les Castines" because 'Castine' is a synonym for limestone. This wine is characterized by generous pyrazine notes on the nose that carry over into the mouth. There are also flavors of black cherry, tobacco and the tannic structure is supple and lovely.
