Il Fauno di Arcanum is a Bordeaux-style blend that embodies the diversity of the estate in which it's grown. Located in the lower southwest section of the estate, in a warmer, exposed subsection that ripens early, the soils possess a significant amount of clay, resulting in a wine that is voluptuous in the body. 

Each vintage of Il Fauno is special on its own. The 2018 vintage combines 2015's power and 2016's structure to create an elegant wine with a strong backbone. This blend of Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Petit Verdot opens with earthy aromas of charred earth, nutmeg, and roses. The luscious palate offers mouth-filling tannins and expressions of black cherries, candied apples, and licorice. The finish will be long and spicy with hints of balsamic, cloves, and white pepper.
