Coquerel is a small estate in Calistoga (northern Napa Valley) that is planted to Cabernet Franc, Petite Sirah, Sauvignon Blanc and Verdelho. The wines are stupendous and incredibly overlooked. This is a very fun and interesting grape that is typically produced and grown in the region of Rueda in Spain.
This wine here is proof that Napa Valley is capable of producing so many styles and varietals of wine. On the palate the wine, is peachy and nutty with a certain vibrancy that is sure to lighten the mood or start the party!
