When the three Cordero siblings, born into a Piedmontese winemaking family, bought the San Giorgio estate in Lombardy, they brought with them years of winemaking experience from around the world to craft their own legacy. The Oltrepò Pavese region is the Pinot Noir capital of Italy thanks to an excellent microclimate created by the Po River. Here, the Corderos harvest and vinify their parcels of Pinot Noir separately to enhance the characteristics of the terroir. ‘Tiamat’ is fermented in stainless steel tanks, preserving its youthful red berries and cherry notes, supported by touches of some potting soil and a kiss of spice. Enjoy this bottle with pasta in a meaty red sauce.
