Costers del Priorat 'Pissarres' - Samso/Garnatxa

The name Petit Pissarres is derived from the word “pizarra,” which is “slate” in Spanish. The unique soil of Priorat is a critical quality factor for the wines. Grapes are sourced from three vineyards in Sant Martí, Mas Alsera, and Les Solanes at 240m to 600m. This lovely red bursts with red fruits with an undercurrent of forest floor aromas. It is the perfect partner for laid-back meals, since it's terrific on its own and will pair with a wide variety of foods. Try it with sausage and pepper stew or lentil soup with Picada!
