De Kleine Wijn Koöp is a South African winery run from a small cellar in the heart of Paarl. Husband and wife Wynand Grobler and his wife Anya make this winery a two-person team producing very small quantities of high quality wines. The blend of this wine changes with every vintage as does the 'creature' on label, making them both unique from year to year. This 2022 vintage is made up of about 50% Shiraz with the other 50% is comprised of a blend of Mourvèdre, Grenache and Cinsault. The result is a red wine bursting with notes of cranberries, cherries and red berries complemented by wildflower and spice, making this wine a wonderful pairing for veal dishes or mature cheeses.
