They specialize in organic, small batch, minimal intervention wines made from Southern Italian grapes. They've found that the Italian grapes fair best in the Riverland area because they are more suited to the climate and require less water to thrive. This particular wine is made from 100% Vermentino, an aromatic grape that has thrived on the Italian coast for what historians believe is many centuries. Notes of white flower, honeysuckle, lemon and tropical fruit make this white an excellent pairing for seafood dishes including fried clams or even halibut with pesto sauce.
