This 5th Generation winery in Sicily is run by brothers Gunther and Klaus Di Giovanna. Founded by their parents Aurelio and Barbera Di Giovanna in 1996, the brothers are part of one of the oldest wine growing families in Sicily. The family vineyards cultivate both indigenous and select international varieties of grapes, ensuring their vines are cared for organically, with no use of any chemical or synthetic substances. ‘Siciliani’ Bianco is a still white wine blend of 70% Chardonnay, 15% Grillo, and 15% Viognier, soft pressed for 8 hours with fermentation and aged 6 months in stainless steel. This wine is bright yellow with notes of citrus and melon, nice acidity and lingering finish. Pair it with shellfish, risotto, and roasted vegetables.
