Utilizing organic farming as a way to partner with nature, Domaine de la Guicharde has been practicing biodynamic viticulture in the Cotes du Rhone region of France for more than 15 years. This estate’s vines grow in the center of Uchaux Massif, a part of Cotes du Rhone that sees a perfect vine growing microclimate and specific terroir defined by shallow soils. This red blend is made up of 70% Grenache and 30% Syrah and gives notes of fresh fruits, lavender, and thyme on the nose. On the palate, expect to find notes of bright plum and black fruit, and finishing with a touch of forest floor. Enjoy this wine as an aperitif or pair it with a hearty stew, tomato pasta, or chocolate-based desserts.
