Winemaker and owner of Domaine de Piéblanc, Matthieu Ponson, has been creating delicious wines in the Rhone Valley region of France since 2014. His certified organic estate grows a variety of robust grape varietals on sandy and clay-limestone terrior, these varietals include the 99% Syrah and 1% Grenache that make up Bourdon. This wine was made using cold maceration before fermentation and aged 6 months in a stainless steel tank. Expect to find notes of cinnamon bark, blueberry jam, and black fruit. Pair with dark chocolate, grilled lamb, and juicy hamburgers.
