Domaine des Schistes 'Illico' - White Blend - Roussillon

This amazing organic winery in southern France is a lovely white blend of 95% Macabeo and 5% Vermentino. The Côtes du Roussillon is warm and dry - perfect for Macabeo and Vermentino. The vineyards here lie on slopes for a sunny exposure and mineral rich soils. This wine is bright and floral with notes of apple, lemon, pear and white blossoms. Pair with a lightened chicken alfredo for a weekday meal.
