Domaine Durand, a family-owned winery in the Loire Valley, has been managed by brothers Eric and Joël since they inherited the estate in 1991. The property spans 35 hectares of vineyards planted in calcareous sediment soils rich in shells. The Durands are committed to sustainable farming while producing high-quality, authentic wines of the valley. This medium-bodied red, made from 100% Syrah, offers a balanced acidity with flavors of black raspberries, plums, spices, and a hint of lavender. It can be cellared for up to three years and pairs beautifully with stuffed zucchini or game dishes.
