Domaine Fenouillet lies in the heart of the Rhone valley. While the estate itself has a history dating back to the late 18th century, it wasn’t until 1989 when the Domaine was officially named and their first vintage was produced. The Soard family works their vineyards organically (certified), and yields are typically low –one of the reasons for the high quality and small production. This rosé is vibrant and balanced compared to the richer rosés you often find in the Southern Rhone. Made from a blend of Cinsault and Grenache with a small amount of Syrah, it is a fruit-forward and mineral-driven wine with notes of strawberry, apple and just a touch of earthiness. Pair with a steak-ceaser salad or a late evening barbeque as summer starts to wind down.
