The Maconnais is warmer and its slopes receive more sunlight than the rest of Burgundy, creating fuller, rounder wines with ripe, sun-kissed fruit character. Domaine Guerrin’s vines enjoy these benefits, and the single vineyard from which this wine is produced also sits at an altitude of 400m, allowing the grapes to ripen fully but still retain acidity and freshness. Expect flavors of golden apple, ripe pear, lemon and a touch of hazelnut.
