Domaine St. Cyr 'La Galoche' - Beaujolais

This French winery has been family owned since 1949. They are organic and biodynamic making them the largest organic domaine in Beaujolais and since 2021 they have implemented plowing by horseback to even further reduce their carbon footprint. This 100% Gamay hails from 40 year-old vines and clay-limestone soils creating a light-bodied wine with lovely minerality and a red fruit forward palete. This wine pairs well with roasted pork or fried calamari.
