Originally started by a Frenchman, Pierre Tintero, this winery grew from an opportunity to move to the Piedmont of Italy to start producing wine. Now run by Elvio, the winery is located in the commune of Mango! They produce this blend which is made up of Barbera, Dolcetto, Nebbiolo and Cabernet Sauvignon. The vine age averages about 15 years old for each of the varieties. The Dolcetto tends to shine through with notes of black plum, blackberry and black cherry. Like all Langhe rosso's a nice amount of tannin and spice comes through and is great with roasted meats or balsamic marinated mushrooms.
