A Tempranillo with tenacity, this wine is made with a wine press fondly named "La Cocedera" by the Rivera-Aparicio family, the proud owners of the Epifano Rivera vineyard. This red is aged 6 months in French and American oak barrels adding toasty vanilla and spice aromas. Flavors of blackberries, black licorice, and mineral undertones greet the taste buds. The acidity of this wine makes it a great pairing with a beef filet or something a bit edgier such as venison.
