The Torres family have had a passion for wine for 5 generations, starting as winegrowers in the 16th century until they began producing wines in Penedes in 1870. Over the last 150 years they have maintained a passion for wine culture, a deep respect of the land and a commitment to innovation. Today, 2 generations work together at the winery and they are proud members of Primum Familiae Vini, an association of 12 of the finest wine-producing families in Europe. This white is made from 100% Verdejo grown about 750 meters above sea level in soils rich in gravelly loam and river stones creating a fresh, fragrant wine with a balanced acidity. Notes of pineapple and lemon are complemented by herbaceous notes of fennel, making this wine a great pairing for fried seafood dishes and green salads with citrus dressings.
